This isn’t the first parody of The Rings of Power made by George The Giant Slayer. Speaking to Bounding Into Comics, George tells us, “This is a continuation. The purpose is to draw attention to the absurd treatment of Tolkien’s legendary masterpiece which he gifted to England.”

“Prime show makers J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay spent 9 months promoting themselves to the world as Stewards of JRR Tolkien for a new generation,” he said. “Since their first interview in February 2022 at Vanity Fair to Comic Con, their press kites in Mexico, India and London have repeatedly stated that whatever questions they have, whatever problems they encounter, and anytime they have doubts regarding the story or characters in the Rings they return Always to books and books.”

He continued, “They expressed their love for the professor, as if they were politicians, preaching a cult. However, with the episodes now in full, we’ve found that they were just spreading the monogram soapbox gospel to Amazon and Hollywood red-carpet crowds.”

“No, someone who has read any of the books in the Legendarium or even seen the Peter Jackson movies, which they keep shredding badly consistently, can say firsthand that Rings of Recycled Fantasy has nothing to do with Tolkien. It’s just a bad fantasy series that uses Tolkien’s names and places. Period “, He said.

George then declared, “So the reason for doing the parodies is to show Hollywood what true passion for something looks like by using the material in a way that highlights its abuse as well as entertaining.”

“Finally, the books will always be there. They can’t destroy Tolkien. However, they can, as viewers said their goal is to be Tolkien for a new generation. We’re fighting back until people know the Rings aren’t.”
