Teens in CT view nearby town as a model for mental health help

Four Killingly High School students often walk to their favorite park near their school to hang out. It’s been tough being a teenager during this pandemic, but these four friends still manage to joke about how music helps them get through the tough days.

“Everyone in the school always has earphones all the time,” said Calvin Sandberg, a student at Killingly High School. He explained that music plays a huge role in their daily lives to help them feel less stressed. “Like 80% of the time we walk through the aisles, to get to where we need to be.”
