Arizona cuts North Dakota Street FBS streak at 6, wins 31-28

Towson, Arizona (AP) – With the dying seconds ticking off the clock, Arizona players took to the field to celebrate, realizing that beating the killer giant North Dakota was no small feat.

Six teams in a row Football Bowl have fallen to Bison.

Arizona’s newly revived program won’t be the seventh.

Jayden DeLaura threw for 229 yards and landed, ran for another score, and rallied Arizona to beat NDSU 31-28 Saturday night. In the process, receiver Dorian Singer said he learned something about the Wildcats as he got closer to playing the Pac-12.

When things hit the fan, if we have each other’s back, we can beat anyone,” said Singer, who finished an 88-yard team.
